Do you speak Bravo?
In case you’re new around here, I happen to be fluent in Bravo. I actually have it listed under “Languages Spoken” on my Linked In account. And one day, that is going to get me a job. I just know it.
(Aside: It just occurred to me that my maniacal viewership of the Real Housewives and Shahs of Sunset is the equivalent of my relatives watching wrasslin’ when I was a child in the ’80s. They believed in every feud and hoped they would fight until blood bounced in the ring. I don’t really care to see the ladies beat each other to a pulp, but I do love watching a bunch of skinny girls who are all perilously close to nip slips participate in good drunken screaming match. I’m neither proud nor embarrassed by this realization. End of Aside.)
No matter your Bravo language proficiency, you should join me this Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 7 pm at McGlohon Theater in Charlotte to witness the Grand Puppet Master of Bravo himself, Andy Cohen, as he hosts an evening presented by Shine for Women honoring cancer survivors and their loved ones. Not only will Andy will regale us with stories of celebrities he’s worked with throughout the years, a choir made up of 25 cancer survivors and Jeanne Jolly will also perform.
