So you and your muchachos need a place to don your sombreros for Cinco de Drinko this weekend.
Might I suggest Paco’s Tacos and Tequila?
Because margaritas. They gots ‘em. Lots and lots and lots of ‘em with all different sorts of tequilas at a range of price points.
They also have Tex-Mex that is better than your average Mexican joint, and superior service.
Like many Mexican restaurants, it is in a strip mall. However, Paco’s is in Specialty Shops on the Park, which means it isn’t bookended by a Dollar General and a nail shop. It is still casual and welcoming, and there is always the possibility of a Ric Flair sighting. (Second blog post in a week that I’ve mentioned Ric Flair. Can’t decide if I’m proud or sad.)
They also make their own tortillas. I’m a fan of that.
Can’t get to Paco’s for the Mexican version of St. Patrick’s Day? Consider Cantina 1511, Vida, Cabo Fish Taco, White Duck Taco, Boca or Taco Boy. Or make your own enchilada stack at home.

Where do plan on spending Cinco de Drinko?

I didn’t celebrate this year because I inadvertently celebrated Quatro de Drinko. WHOOPS!
Boy do I wish I lived on your side of the state… I’d have all of these new places to eat!
Leigh Ann, where are you, exactly?
