Today, on Southern Spark’s blogiversary eve, I’m pensive about how much wonderful has come from going after this little dream of mine.
It feels really, really good to know that I’m doing what I’m supposed to be doing and I’m where I”m supposed to be. Really good.
Below is video of an interview I did yesterday with the lovely Maureen O’Boyle at WBTV in Charlotte. Some of you may be surprised that I wasn’t being interviewed for my idea that TSA employees should include complimentary mammograms along with their body scans. (Amirite? It makes complete sense!) And though it was shocking to me, I wasn’t asked there to tell the story of how I met Joe Kwon. (Even though that is totally newsworthy.)
Instead I was there to share travel planning tips for the upcoming holidays. I also have Pink Eye and tried to leave the news station with the microphone still on me. I’m that cool.
I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to share this information, and I hope my readers get even a modicum of the enjoyment I do from Southern Spark. Now let’s go somewhere fun for the holidays.
