Going on a birthday trip. Wanna come?

Written by on September 19, 2012 in travel - 10 Comments

You know where I want to go?

I want to go to a place where no one calls saying things like, “Please come pick up your child from school. It looks like he has pink eye. And probably lice. And maybe strep throat. By the way, did you forget it’s your turn to bring snack?”

I’d like to visit the town that sells Weight Watchers points on the Black Market.

I hear there’s a place where the words “Balance Due” come with an addendum of “Whenever you get to it.”

As my pretend bestie, Tina Fey, says, “I want to go to there.”

And when I get there, I want there to be free Wi-Fi and free parking. Even in a fantasy world, it’s better to save some dolla bills, y’all.

The closest place I’ve been to that dream land is St. Maarten. So I hopped on Room 77 just to see how much a trip would be for Daddy Frat Boy and myself. My birthday is coming up in November (Barbie Cake Time!), and it would be divine to revisit one of the few Caribbean destinations that we’ve been to more than once to celebrate. It says a lot about a place if we want to return to it rather than try something new. And I want to go back to there.

Blue water and wind my hair. Yes.

When you choose Room 77, you can search the site to see their best deals and those of their competitors, with the best price overall showing at the top of the list. If you book through them, you can utilize their exclusive Room Concierge Service. That sucker will let you choose the type of room you want and the area of the hotel you prefer. Hate connecting room doors like Daddy Frat Boy? The Room Concierge Service will put the Big Red X on it for you.

Duuuuude. Two bedroom villa in paradise for four nights for $900. Who’s in?

How are you going to deny me this on my birthday? Let’s go.

A few final words from Room 77:

Never wonder whether you’ve gotten the best deal on your hotel room again. Check out Room 77 when planning your next travel adventure!

Obviously it only seems right that we go together. Okay, okay, we can bring our hubbies, too…or not, whatever. Can’t wait to check that site out so I can dream. :)

Thia has totally inspired me to book a Caribbean vaca. Bailing on work and surfing the ‘net.

I’m proud to inspire people not to work. As long you take me with you on the trip, it’s permissible. :)
