I’m told today is Wednesday. I’m still in a Type-A Con induced zombie haze, but other people are not quite as useless as I am right now. So if you will kindly direct your attention to them while I recover, that would be helpful.
Right now my friend Holly’s blog is being featured on the Southern Writers Blog Tour and ICLW. Her interviews with writers and publishers this week are so interesting, especially if you would like to know more about their creative processes. Holly isn’t so bad herself. She’s a television producer turned writer, and meeting her boosted my faith in fate/destiny/serendipity. Last summer when I was struggling with whether I am actually a writer or not, John and I were randomly seated by Holly and her husband at a Charlotte restaurant. We began chatting, and realized we have tons in common besides our love for plum wine and sake cocktails.
Holly helped me realize that I can be whatever I want and write about whatever I want, because I am a writer, no matter what anyone says. Check out her blog, and tell her I sent you. Then tell her to make you a cocktail. She’s good like that.
The word on the Interweb Street is that Charlotte’s Restaurant Week, also known as Queen’s Feast, is scheduled for July 20-29, 2012. Until it is confirmed, commit these tips to memory for your best Restaurant Week experience. And then invite me to supper with you.
While you are making dinner plans, don’t forget to enter my Super Why Live giveaway. And take me with you to that, too.
